I’m totally convinced that for a few short months every year, chicago is the greatest city that ever was, and ever will be.
1. the a shot of the marina at the end of my street. 2. walking south from my place, towards the loop. (walked a total of 8.2 miles on sunday. Not the best idea in a pair of vans slip-ons. my podiatrist will thank me later) 3. a sailboat off of navy pier. apparently the water is so blue because it descends from the glaciers in canada. beautiful, but a sure-fire way to freeze your ______ off if you get in it before mid-august. 4. oo, hey mies (and oprah, among other notable names). 5. the spire of the water tower and the hancock tower by som. pro-tip: if you want a pic from the top of the city, go to the hancock - smaller lines, smaller fees, and there’s a bar on the skydeck. triple-win!
some more work from my final food access project in chicago’s bronzeville neighborhood. looking forward to taking that 3dsmax class this summer so i can get those renderings looking damn-good!
